What Size Dumpster Do You Need for a Garage Cleanout?

Start by picturing the pile, not the garage. A two-car garage with a path down the middle and stuff along both walls is usually a small trailer's worth once it is loaded tight. A garage you cannot walk into, packed floor to ceiling, is a larger trailer or a swap.

Then think about the heavy items. An old chest freezer, a workbench, cast-iron anything, boxes of tile from the last remodel. Weight, not volume, is what pushes a load over the limit. If the garage has a lot of heavy material, mention it and we will size accordingly.
